J.S. BACH Brandenburg Concerti Nos. 4 in G major (BWV1048) & 5 in D major (BWV1050) (minus Violin)
The amazing creativity and richness of instrumentation in these concerti have kept them to this day a most valued contribution to concert programs. The Concerto No. 4, scored for two flutes, violin and string orchestra is essentially a concerto for solo violin. The instrumentation of Concerto No. 5 calls for virtuoso parts for harpsichord, violin and flute.
