Azure: First Year Charts

"Azure" is a beautiful ballad by Duke Ellington arranged by Mike Lewis at the easy level. "The Duke" always featured himself on this tune, so Mike wrote a nice melodic intro for the piano and then incorporated a written piano solo in the chart. Check out the easy ranges, smooth phrases, lyrical solis and optional parts for flute, horn, baritone, and tuba. Don't forget, this chart will sound full with reduced instrumentation.
